Math skills are needed in every aspect of life. Many children begin school enjoying math. Then, unfortunately for many students something happens to change this along the way.
In this study, we focus on math games published and made available via popular source in the United States. This source specializes in learning games for many topics geared towards elementary school children. We explore the extent to which cultural relevance and design guidelines/best practices for learning games are embedded in almost 100 math games.
