Biographical Info

She is a senior at Coppin State University, an HBCU in Baltimore, MD pursuing a double major in Mathematics and Chemistry. She expects to graduate in May of 2017, with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Chemistry and Mathematics, with honors from the College of Arts Sciences. During her undergraduate career, She has gained knowledge and experience in classrooms, in laboratories and in practice.  She currently serves as the President of the STEM Club, Student Ambassador for Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF), a mentor for Coppin State University’s Our House Mentoring program. She plans to pursue a PhD in Nuclear Engineering so that she can further investigate and contribute to the understanding of various chemical phenomena in nuclear chemistry, which will lead to more accurate assessments and designs of nuclear reactors.
